Right Before the Storm

A couple of days ago, I was driving on the ring road of my hometown, and the skies were somehow angry. They were angry all this summer and most of the springtime. After ten or fifteen minutes, the storm came, and there were heavy rains. Luckily not for long!

I couldn't help myself, so I pulled over, and took a few shots (smartphone quality). The wind blew with such anger that I barely could made the camera to properly focus. Anyway, here are some relevant shots.

When I shot the pics (and also shot a short film sequence), a panorama was into my mind, only Google preceded my action! In Romanian there's a saying, "Gand la gand cu bucurie", roughly translated: "Thought to thought with joy". Here's the result after Google's enhancement:

A short video would complete the other day's atmosphere depicted in the above photographs with moving images and the original sound of the wind.

As a conclusion I might say that this was "A Show of Power", an impressive performance of Mother Nature. She says "This is just the beginning!".

Post factum: pictures from the end of the world!

So: the end of the world is over now! We are we now?And where are we heading to? I am looking around me and I suppose that we are still here! Looking at the road, I also suppose that we are heading towards we were heading by now. So, how was the end of the world? Or was it the end of the Earth? I am a little confuse... Or is it difuse?
