Michael Faraday
Michael Faraday is the kind of scientist I am admiring.
A concise documentary presents his work and discoveries.
Below you might enjoy a funny experiment closely linked to the proposed documentary!

Off the Beaten Track
Sometimes, a flash thought drives us off the beaten track. A while ago (it was April or May I think) I left E70 on my way back from Timisoara. I just saw a sign towards a church, situated not very far from the main road, in Fenes village, near Armenis, Caras-Severin county, Romania. Well, it isn't much to talk about the church itself, but the landscape was... Well I'll not describe it, instead I'll post the photos! Enjoy!

Office Set
From one magazine to another, here am I in front of LEXON - design in life 2013 - catalog. Well, it would be a selfish gesture from me to keep the info for myself. Being "struck" by a straight line design, I thought that every methodical person should possess this desk set of accessories. This office set comprises a tape dispenser, calculator, USB hub, stapler, hole punch, clock, calendar, and a magnifying glass.
In order to reveal the entire information, I will take it methodically.

- First step was taken by opening the issuu website, where issuu is:
A world of publications.
For you, created by you.
- LEXON, an international designers team, two corporate teams, numerous awards...
Since 1991, Lexon has established a granted relationship with Creativity.
Above all, it is about making an object enjoyable for its daily use.
- Browse the menu and look for BURO collections, reddot design award 2012, available in green, grey or purple, grey being the best fit for my blog!
- Check out other products designed by Adrian Wright and Jeremy Wright simply by visiting their website, DesignWright.
That's all I have to say! What is your opinion on this?

Google Storage
Reaching recently some 30% of my 10GB free email account from Google, I cleared up some space by saving on my local drive some attachments, and then deleting some old and unimportant emails. The very next day or so, my Inbox being cleared also by archiving all the emails (available under "All Mail"), I've noticed that 10 was replaced by 15GB!
There is also a link called Manage, which I didn't notice by now, so I clicked it. That action opened a very useful page, called Drive storage. On this page it is indicated "Total storage", and possible extension plans for your account. The plans are starting from 100GB for $4.99/month, and ending with 16TB (the rough equivalent of 1,000 free accounts) for $799.99/month.
The more important thing to consider for a free account is mentioned on the lower part of the page.
UPDATE: There's a new Gmail inbox starting today (June, the 20th, 2013):

- Google Drive: Store files up to 10GB each. Anything you create with Docs, Sheets, or Slides won’t use up any of your storage.
- Gmail: Attachments sent and received in Gmail as well as your email messages use your storage.
- Google+ Photos: Photos bigger than 2048x2048 pixels use your storage. Everything smaller than that is free.
UPDATE: There's a new Gmail inbox starting today (June, the 20th, 2013):
- organized into categories,
- easy to customize,
- available on your mobile device.

Pictures at an Exhibition - Mine Flowers
On the way from Bucharest to Timisoara on E70, you may visit "Flori de mina" ("Mine Flowers") exhibition at Iron Gates I hydro power plant museum.
The photos does not indicate the scientific names. They are rather oriented towards our senses!
Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition is quite appropriate as musical background while watching the photos on this page. Enjoy!

EDolutionary - two more steps (ahead)
After the albums One Step Ahead and The Soundtrack, two newly released singles are emphasising Edmund Sobczak's modern, sophisticated and innovative style!
If you're in a mood for a unique Jazz sound, taste it right now!
Well, if you're not, taste it anyway! You'll be pleased of what you'll hear!
Simply go to EDolutionary.com!
I've discovered the above site almost a year ago, but that's another story, a story called Jazz Trumpet!

Restaurants With a View... Over the Danube River
From Pensiunea Melba (Dubova Bay, Mehedinti, Romania) one can see the steep slopes of the mountains on the Serbian side of the Danube. If you like to spent in the area, I am recommending the following review:
"From Drobeta Turnu Severin to Dubova".
"From Drobeta Turnu Severin to Dubova".
From Restaurant Porec (Restoran Poreč, Donji Milanovac, Serbia) you can enjoy the view of the sunny side of the Romanian side of Danube.
You may serve pancakes with cottage cheese and raisins at Pensiunea Melba.
... and baklava with chopped nuts and jam at Restaurant Poreč!
In order to reach the above locations, here are the Google Maps for Dubova and Donji Milanovac.
Have a nice trip!

Drobeta Turnu Severin - Downtown - 2013
I've managed to take some new photos in order to make a comparison betwen these and those shot back in 2006. For musical background I propose Black Sabbath - Changes.
Speaking of changes I am noticing fewer people on the (same) streets... Perhaps the photos were taken at some different hour of the day... And I've changed the cell phone...
