Cloudy Wings
The sky was quite cloudy the other day. From time to time the Sun sent its spear alike rays through the thin clouds. On my way to the Danube this cloud formation have drawn my attention, so here I am sharing this panorama assembled by Google.

Painting... Stoned...
Death Is Up Above
![]() |
| Death Is Up Above, (c) Mihai Midus, 2015 |
Fear not! This is just another arrangement made by Google wich combined two of my photos depicting October clouds. Would you give it another name? I guess not!
I've heard that these days Death took tens of lives in Brussels. Yesterday an aunt died of cancer. The sister of a high school mate died of this disease a few days ago. And this news came too from a friend about an acquintance... So Death is up above.
The favorite quote of a beautiful friend is a Lao Tzu saying:
"Life and death are one thread, the same line viewed from different sides."

November Clouds
The pattern of the clouds was very unusual that November day, especially the one above the line of the horizon. The powerful contrast sent a sensation of a strong inner force ready to be unleashed! It only needed a sign... I dare to make an image-sound parallel between this photo and Be'lakor's song called Venator.
Here are a few more pics.

As proposed by Noiembrie, Active Child's Johnny Belinda is also a great tune for the above pictures! Please enjoy the sounds along my pictures!

Rainy Day
Oh, no, not today!
Today the temperatures were around 34 degrees Celsius (93 F), and I was looking at a few photos taken on a rainy day.
So this post is just a reminder of how a summer rainy day looks like!

Veil
Passing by St. Anton Church in Old Town of Bucharest, nearby it I noticed a veil alike cloud. I made a few steps in order to catch it from this angle from which it gives me the idea of a link between the church and the heavens. It is said the the inside of a church represents the skies themselves!

The Planet of the Coffee
The Planet of the Coffee - high resolution image captured a while ago (3rd of April, 2015) by my personal telescope Hubble alike, I mean Humble... "My Humble Telescope"! Don't forget: it's just an image... [Sorry! Lack of imagination... You name it!]
Meanwhile, I moved on, from HD photos to HD moving imagery. Another angle, another night (26th of June, 2015), another atmosphere. Still milky though... Well, Milky Way it's still on its own way...
In time, the fast advancing technology will reveal the secrets behind the shady atmosphere from the above images. Or is it just the human soul enough to explain the complexity of feelings while experiencing a sip of coffee? Feel free to let me know!

Crystal Globe Award
Oh, it's not an actual prize! It is rather an appropriate name for my photo depicting a fountain shot against the Sun! And, no, I have nothing against the Sun! Au contraire!
Coincidence: this is the post number 100! So this photo is my prize for 100 blog posts!

Mehedinti County Roads
After a rainy summer, I thought we'll enjoy a sunny autumn. I was pretty wrong. We've had our sunny days at the beginning of the autumn, only the forest was still green. I wanted some sunny days while there are a large palette of colors in the hills towards the Godeanu Mountains in Mehedinti county, Romania.
In between the above mentioned periods of time, I saw some interesting cloud formation near my city (or is it a town?! - I was always wondered), Drobeta Turnu Severin. So I drove that way, and I wanted a better angle, then a better panorama, then a higher ground, then a view after the next corner, and the next... So I've reached a higher altitude village (430 m asl) at some 30 km away from Severin, Ciresu (the cherry tree).
The road is winding among forests, meadows and grasslands.
Sometimes a calf is just sitting in the middle of the road like a veritable statue.
But the best pictures were the flora ones! In order to enjoy the beautiful autumnal flowers, one might want to pull over and make a few steps in the surrounding forests. He or she will be enchanted by a wide variety of colors and sounds! I leave you with the colors, and invite you to listen the sounds by yourselves!

Fall. Fall in love.
A few weeks ago, a menu plate at the entrance of a terrace displayed an interesting text related to the newly coming season.
Autumn is the hardest season. The leaves are all falling, and they're falling like they're falling in love with the ground.Today, after suggesting a title to a photo, I've remembered the above lines. Curious about who would be the author, I did a quick research on the web. I've discovered a name: Andrea Gibson. As stated on her website, she is a poet and an activist.
If you like the above photo, you might like the other ones from the very same album!

Out of the Blue
The other day I was supposed to drop something to the recycle bin.
Because I like the blue texture on a silvery background, I thought why not taking some pictures prior to complete the action?
The photos were uploaded and distributed on Google + some hours later, and now it is the time to show them here, along with some very good music. Mr. Blue Sky is a famous track from Electric Light Orchestra's (ELO in short) album named Out of the Blue.
PS Photos are phone's camera quality.

Right Before the Storm
A couple of days ago, I was driving on the ring road of my hometown, and the skies were somehow angry. They were angry all this summer and most of the springtime. After ten or fifteen minutes, the storm came, and there were heavy rains. Luckily not for long!
I couldn't help myself, so I pulled over, and took a few shots (smartphone quality). The wind blew with such anger that I barely could made the camera to properly focus. Anyway, here are some relevant shots.

When I shot the pics (and also shot a short film sequence), a panorama was into my mind, only Google preceded my action! In Romanian there's a saying, "Gand la gand cu bucurie", roughly translated: "Thought to thought with joy". Here's the result after Google's enhancement:
A short video would complete the other day's atmosphere depicted in the above photographs with moving images and the original sound of the wind.
As a conclusion I might say that this was "A Show of Power", an impressive performance of Mother Nature. She says "This is just the beginning!".
Then the storm was ON...
